Power Door Lock Relay Trigger Polarity
I am trying to add a remote door opener to a 1985 Firebird. The electrical sites indicate that the trigger wire for the "lock" is light blue and "unlock" is black. I have found these in the driver side lower kick panel. The remote door opener module only provides for a 500mA negative output on the trigger wires.
Am I correct is assuming that the above two wires need a positive output to trigger them? If so, I could use a relay to flip the current.
Thanks.

Your assumption is correct.
Therefore use that relay you mentioned.

Re: Locked & Loaded
Thanks for the reply. Will give it a shot as soon as I get a couple of relays.
