many electrical items out all at once...
The T56 is in and the SGI is wired up and digital dash speedo is working but,
My power mirrors, interior lights, headlights, parking lights, heater, (can't select anything - only fan comes on), radio, and digital odometer and Miles / KM selector doesn't work. The system check tells me that all is OK, the beeps and tells me trunk is open, a few seconds and then trunk open again.
Many items not working tells me fuse link or wire/s were cut, but the dash seems more like a short that is grounding out.
I'm going to check fuse links first.....any ideas would be helpful, thanks in advance.

I have the same dash in my car. When it went through the diagnostics in my car everything showed okay to but the accessory burtton didnt work on the digital dash. I had to change that module out that reads the Km/Miles and now all the functions work. I am not sure if this is related to your prbolem or not. There are only 3 large connectors that attach to the back of the digital dash unit, no grnd wires that I saw when I removed mine.

When I have a fuse blown it would only run in miles and didn't show me miles on display, but this time their are no fuses blown...with everything else figure has to be a wire cut somewhere, but thanks for the help, curious of the ACC button

There is a "Headlight Door module" located beside the wiper motor. ( to the right if you at front of car looking to the back) This controls all items listed above not working. Now mine started working, then shut off and started working again while looking for info on the net. There are fuse links "D" "E" and "G" in the wiring harness under the master cylinder. Haven't had issue since she fixed herself, but will keep you posted.

Re: many electrical items out all at once...
So it turns out that the firewall wire connector isn't making a good contact. That one red wire provides power to the items listed above. the connector on the engine side was fine but not so fine on the inside under the dash. I'm told it is not easy to fix and just to run a new wire and splice it in. By moving (back and forth) the wiring harness under the dash everything is working fine again. If anyone gets stuck, just wiggle the harness that connects to the fuse panel and goes into the engine compartment. Should save you from getting stuck somewhere if you need lights to get home.
