LED Tail Lights for 88 Trans Am?
Hey guys.
I've got an 84 Trans Am that is something of a GTA clone (Front clip and tail lights/spoiler from 88 GTA). I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get the socket style LED's to replace my bulbs for my tail lights? What I'm trying to do, is have Red brake lights and AMBER turn signals. It makes it difficult with bulbs because it's a dual filiment bulb normally and I have no way to do this that I know of without much rewiring. I know the 91-92 T/A's had the amber turn signals but that's a re-wire all the way to the console turn/signal switch and run around $600 for a set.
The reason I'm trying this is that here in the UK, it's law to have amber turn signals, even on import cars so my current red ones are breaking the law and it's just a matter of time before I'm caught. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
