Drove through water, electronics screwed up
I drove it about 40 feet through 1ft high water to try to get it down my flooded driveway. I no longer have power to my gauges. I have my fuelpump, radio, and electric fan wired to the radio spot on the fuse block so they would come on with the key and now those dont work either. Car still starts but it just runs on residual gas in the lines. What should i check first?
Power windows and locks still work, gauge lights work, starter works, headlights work, distruber works, spark works.

Well first off, give it a few days to dry out properly. Did any water go above the bottom of the doors, or get inside the car? That's allot of water. Cars riding as low as 3rd gens do, I sure as heck wouldn't drive them through that much water. I wouldn't hesitate to drive my pickup truck through, but only because it's taller.

First off, never drive through water. Not counting the dangers of being swept away, you do realize how low 3rd gens are right?
Next, even if the water isnt the source of the problem, running the fuel pump, fan and other stuff off THE RADIO FUSE is asking for trouble. Find a larger point or run a relay. I dont see how the 30A turn on spikes of a fan relay didnt melt the radio wire, much less adding the 12A constant draw of a pump on top of that...

fixed it it was just blown fuses.
and its not like im driving an expensive car so driving through water is no problem for me
and im running my radio, fuel pump and electric fan on a 15 or 20 amp fuse so it wont melt the wire

Normally, you just replace one fuse at a time and replace it with a matching fuse. Changing the fuses isn't really the best idea, but you can do it within reason.

the radio spot in the fuse block does not have a fuse, you just plug a single blade terminal thing into it and i added an inline fuse to that.

theres also other spots on the fuse box meant for expansion, they take single male spade terminals and are labeled. batt for constant 12v, ign for stwiched 12v, lmps for on with the lights. you should think about using those instead of running everything off the radio circuit.
