What are these wires?
There are some stray wires and some cut ones on my car. here are a couple now, does anyone know what these are, where they go, and what effect they would have on my car. Thanks.

is that second plugo n the driver or passenger side. it looks like the connector for the coolange temp gauge if its on the driver side.....on a side note, your pcv valve isnt hooked into anything, you should hook that up.

Well these both make perfect sense because my gauges dont work haha. Yeah I was asking about that PCV valve it goes nowhere. I have two of them. One goes to my intake and the other there is no where for it to go. both pics are on my drivers side. Do you know where that PCV valve should go if there is a place for it?

Re: What are these wires?
passenger side pcv goes to throttle body and drivers side pcv goes to a big vacuum port on the back drivers side of the plenum on the tpi

This is a 305 TBI with 350 TPI heads not that it matters or anything but where would it go on a TBI?

Yeah so I bought the piece and it actually doesn't go to that emmisions thing that I was talking about (the 3rd pic) it goes down in front of it its wierd and my engine is still overheating. I took my valve covers off, do I need to buy new ones now? I did that like a week ago. How can I check why its overheating? I think its overheating there is smoke coming out of my engine from the valve covers I think, but for sure my exaust manifolds.

Re: What are these wires?
smoking doesnt mean its over heating. its only overheating if theres coolant boiling in the overflow tank or steam pouring out from somewhere. if you have cork valve cover gaskets then yes you need to replace them (just the gaskets). id suggest getting the rubber resuable ones. and theres only 2 pics in this thread, what 3rd pic are you referring to? smoking exhaust is usually oil or something burning off of it. which if you didnt replace the valve cover gaskets you possibly have an oil leak thats dripping on them and burning.
