Ciggarette lighter
My cigarette lighter hasn't worked in my 91 camaro since I bought it. Any suggestions on how to fix and if needed how to take it out.
Thanks

more often than not, the connector comes off the back of it. if you unscrew the bezel, you should be able to tell real quick if it just needs to be plugged in or if you have other issues down the line.

Does your dome light and map lights work on your rearview mirror? If not then its the fuse. They're all connected.

Re: Ciggarette lighter
I found the fuse that was blown so I bought some 20s an put one in the dome light came on but when I try to use my cigarette lighter the fuse blows instantly. After frying 3 I finally said **** it and put in a 30 I haven't tried to use the cigarette lighter yet so I thought I'd see if it would work or if it's something different.

never, never, never put a bigger fuse that what the circuit is rated for. this can cause major damage, because now instead of allowing the fuse to be your safety, your wiring is. that means melting and smoking.
if you have not properly diagnosed the issue, pull the fuse until you do.
