Removing Dash Wiring Harness
Working on a very very slow redo of my car and have was removing all my interior. I'm planning on going with an LS1 setup (either 4L60E or T-56 it'll depend on budget and desires at the time). Currently i've got everything out of the interior, with the exception of the main wiring harness. Because i've already done a 4th gen interior swap, and will be using a 4th gen drivetrain, i'm planning on just using a 4th gen interior harness. But i can't get the main body harness connection of the drivers side firewall. I checked the Haynes, but didn't see harness removal mentioned, if anyone has any suggestions, i'm totally open to it. I really appreciate any help you can give.

Re: Removing Dash Wiring Harness
The C100 is the main bulkhead near the booster. To get the engine harness side off use a 1/4" socket to take the bolt loose in the dead center then pull the connector off. TO get it off the firewall unbolt the two small nuts at the corners from the engine side. Be gentle, the are held still by the plastic of the bulkhead from the interior side. If you jam them around the plastic will strip out and youll have to grind the heads off

Re: Removing Dash Wiring Harness
Thanks pocket...I might have to contact you about wiring harness help as i get further into this (i've heard you're the resident expert). I originally couldn't see how it was bolted in because of an aftermarket alarm setup that was bolted the inner fender, gotta vacuum out a bunch of old leaves, and hopefully i'll have a better view of the nuts. Thanks again!
