Re: did the bypass still won,t crank
Fuel pump not related to VATS
Have you hotwired your starter to confirm it actually works?
Bypassed the starter enable relay to see if it is faulty?
Checked the clutch safety or P/N switch to see if it is working?
Confirmed you have 12V on the starter circuit out of Ign switch when in start position?
If you have faults with any of the above ,your engine won't crank regardless of what you have done to the
VATS system ( bypassed )

i did not check the starter how do you do that without taking it off. [hotwiring it] and what is the p/n switch, and i will look for the starter enable relay on my 92 firebird, sorry i don't know alot about this stuff.

Re: did the bypass still won,t crank
If starter is working it should crank engine.
If it doesn't then your starter has a fault ( not a wiring to starter problem )
The switch on the auto shifter that stops you starting engine in gear ( or on the clutch pedal for stick cars )
See

................................................
Typical GM starter circuit
As you can see ,the power has to go from the Ign switch to starter. If any part not working then engine won't crank
