Looking to install a small screen to monitor engine parameters
Guys,
I'm looking to install a digital device to monitor and display engine parameters. I'm thinking maybe a 3-6" LCD screen. I'd like to monitor:
engine temp
oil temp
oil pressure
trans temp
air fuel ratio
outside temperature
probably forgetting something else
This information would be useful during track days.
So for kicks lets say it needs to have 6-10 configurable inputs. I would also like the output screen to be configurable.
Honestly something like what the C5/C6 corvettes have stock would work well.
Something like this but without the tach.
Any ideas???

I've heard there's something on the market that just plugs into the OBDII port. Not sure if there's one for OBDI. Google?

You can also mount an infrared thermometer pointing down to monitor track temperature to digitally readout on the unit.

Thanks. I am looking for something finished looking though. The car is a street car primarily, so I can't make certain sacrifices.
I did find the ARK MFD which seems pretty interesting. I could probably make this one work, although its intended for OBD II.

Then there is the Dash DAQ which is totally awesome but really only works for OBD II
