fan motor relay
My dual fan relay i installed about 3 months ago was a derale setup for single or dual fan application, and universal fit . I ran the car around for about 1/2 hour , and the inline 30 amp fuse melted. how can i fix it if i can with a new fuse assembly or do i need a i need a bigger setup. I have dual fan setup .
Rather than waste another spot , my turn signal on the right side doesnt work but the left does even after a new swap out on both of them as well as the right side light dim and bights are dimmer as well. am i on a short and or loose wire search, or a simple fuse slowly going bad?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

It’s So Hot The Fan Needs A Fan
30 amps is not enuff for 2 fans, that’s why the fuse melted.
However don’t just throw a bigger fuse in place.
Use a separate fuse for each fan, and locate it near the source of power.
Turning our attention to turn signals ► If both the right front and right rear are not lighting at all, most likely the switch in the column is defective or the connector has partially pulled away.

Re: fan motor relay
whats the easiest way to fuse each fan, buy 2 separate relays, like fix the one that fried , and buy one more relay kit or buy a double set and which one do you suggest i have seen one from jegs and one from be cool.
and the switch issue was a loose connection tg

Relay Race
Use separate relays.
Install a fuse holder going to each relay’s power feed as close to the power source as possible.

◄Left’s OK - ►Right’s No Way
No the components inside the flasher case is used for both left and right.
When you say the rights don’t flash are you saying they don’t light at all?
In post 1 you wrote “…..the right side light dim and bights are dimmer as well.” I’m not sure what you meant.
You need to check the switch.
Does the switch have the same feel left and right?
Using a voltmeter or test light (the type for testing for voltage, not a continuity tester) key in the RUN position, turn stalk in the right position, probe the dark blue wire out of the column.
Is there power there?
If no, you need to get to the switch, probe it at the switch and if still no power replace the switch.
