How do u deflate the lumbar seats in a TA?

How do u deflate the lumbar seats in a TA?

ok both my seats lumbar dosent work, i press the buttons but i hear nothing, now i only care about deflating my seat... any way i can do that? also is there a fuse or a relay that could be gone??? thanks

The fuse is an inline fuse located under the driver's seat.

The middle pic in this post shows the fuse.

thanks for the info, but how hard is it to locate? do i need to take the seat out or can i just the carpet and get at it?

Well I took the seat out to help another member figure something out. Judging from the picture, I think you could probably just reach under and find it.

Well I just went out and checked and I was able to get to the fuse by moving the seat all the way forward and face-planting on the rear carpet.

thanks, i found it and i took out the fuse but it was good, i guess maybe the pump quit working on both sides that is !!! ok whats the best way to deflate the seat then? i have too much lumbar...

The pump, which is the big black box mounted under the front area of the driver's seat, is used for both seats. There is only 1 pump. I do not know how to deflate the seats without the button working. You could try disconnecting the hoses.

yeah i see the pump, i guess its not working....im gonna try unplugging the hose i guess and see what happens, now with the seat fully deflated u dont think its gonna be too uncomfortable do u ? cause there is no turning back after unplug the hose and deflate it....

No I don't think it will be uncomfortable at all. If removing the hose works, then just pull the hose, let some air escape, and re-attach the hose until you reach your desired firmness. Or get a pump at the JY.
