cassette adaptor
Hi,
Wondering if anyone uses a cassette adapter for their mp3 player in the stock Delco radios.
I have one that works in all my decks except the one in my Trans Am. It is the one with the 7 band EQ built in, with the stereo controls. Not sure if it is the original GTA radio or newer...the steering wheel controls do not work the radio.
I know that some decks monitor both cassette wheels (caspins?) to ensure that the tape doesn't jam or break, but not sure this is the case with the factory radios.
I have a fm transmitter but the quality just isn't as good as the adapter - hard for me to believe but tried them both in many different cars and the sound is fuller, cleaner and higher quality with the adapter
I don't have any pics so I linked one I found on ebay for reference.
Thank You!
