Re: FAN SWITCH RELAY ???
mine was next to the battery mounted on the support for the radiator.
to find it, grab the wires that power the fan.
follow them up to the next thing they come in contact with.
that next thing will be the relay

Re: FAN SWITCH RELAY ???
yes my relay was located there to!
do you have a single or dual fan setup?
if you have the dual there must be 2 relay`s.

Re: FAN SWITCH RELAY ???
Driver side firewalll between the brake booster and the fenderwell - there os a bracket held to firewall with 2 10mm screws - the relays are on the inside of that bracket. The one with the large black with red stripe wire is the fan relay, the other is the fuel pump relay.
Might also test the fan switch, located pass side head between #6 and #8 cylinder - has a single wire connector - squeeze connector to remove - ground this connector with key on to see if fan runs - if fan runs with this connector grounded and key on, then the relay is fine, and the fan switch is bad.

Re: FAN SWITCH RELAY ???
thats odd.
i have the two up next to the brake booster and i also have the one on the side of the radiator.
is it redundant?
maybe one was for the AC or something?

Ok, found out therakay was bad,,but. it turns on when i turn the ac on...now i need to find out if it will with the ac off.
So it could still ba a bad switch ( temp switch ) .
Also the gauge still does not work. I will get it done though .
THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP.

Re: FAN SWITCH RELAY ???
A/C on will run the fan automatically - so yes the fan switch itself could def be bad. Careful replacing it - you'll get coolant in the face!
