Wiring Connector Melting
I have a 1989 Pontiac GTA.
There is a wiring harness connector up by the firewall just above the plastic plenum extension. Two connectors clip together and are attached to a metal clip which is bolted to the firewall. The first connector has a black/green wire and a thick black wire going to it. The second connector has a light green, a green and a black wire going to it. The first connector is melting and breaking down.
Does anyone know what this connector is and where I could buy a replacement? I looked on TPI Parts but they do not seem to have it.

Re: Wiring Connector Melting
I found a picture of the connector. Can any one confirm what the middle big black rectangular connector is with the green, green and black wires going into it is.
