I can never find stuff when I try to search. Keeps coming up with unrelated posts. So here goes. My car runs OK but something is wrong still. I have the plug in GM code reader that makes the C/E light flash codes. I plugged it in, then turned on the key. Hope that was right. Got the same code. One flash, two flash. Any info on this? Thanks guys.

A code 12 means systems ok. Counting the SES light flashes will flash code 12 3 times when you start the diagnostic, then it will flash what codes are stored 3 times each. It will go back to flashing code 12 when all codes have been displayed. Plug in your code reader, turn on the ignition, wait for the SES light to flash code 12(1 flash, pause, 2 flashes) 3 times, then the count the flashes for the codes(ex. 3 flashes, pause, 4 flashes). If it keeps flashing a code 12, then no codes are stored in the ecm.

Well, what car/engine do you have?
Code 32 means "EGR failure" on TPI and I believe also on TBI. There are many troubleshooting articles on that system.
