Quick Toggle Switch Question
I am in the middle of wiring up my dual fans to a toggle switch and I have a quick question. My toggle switch has 3 prongs on it, (Power, Ground, and Load). Do I only need to put a ground wire on the ground prong to make the fans turn on, or do I need more wires coming from the switch? Here is the diagram that im using.

Re: Quick Toggle Switch Question
I did mine very simply (although it is a single fan) The guy I bought my car off had the fan wired to a constant ground and a positive that only had power when the ignition was switched on. So what I did was I found the ground that was connected to the body (instead of going to the relay) and merely turned it into a switched ground. No positive current running through my switch at all, didnt use the middle prong on the connecter either.

Re: Quick Toggle Switch Question
So all I need is one ground wire going to the ground prong?

Re: Quick Toggle Switch Question
Basically, you want the ground wire from the fans going to the top one which is labeled positive I believe, and the ground wire labeled on the switch should go to a ground on the car, and that will just switch your ground from open to closed on command, turning the fans on and off.

Re: Quick Toggle Switch Question
Ok, ignore the ground connection on the switch. I'll bet your switch has a light on it correct? The ground wire only completes the circuit for the light on the switch. Seeing as you are using this switch on the negative or ground side of the circuit, that little light wont work anyway. Simply find the appropriate wire and cut it. Then Connect one side to the "power" lead, and the other to "Load". Should worky fine last long time.
