Mystery wire?

Can anyone help me with identifying this wire? It is blue as you can see and appears to be sindled out from a strand of wires. It is taped to the black plastic case that houses the strand

Re: Mystery wire?

What is on the end of it? There is usually a "fuel pump test wire" exposed around the wire harness under the hood on most GM vehicles. I'm not sure of the color it normally is though.

Re: Mystery wire?

It appears to have a silver colored metal clip on its end. I did not take the tape off yet, was just wondering if anyone knew what it may be.

Re: Mystery wire?

Don't know what it's for but got a question I see the wire for the hood light, the black thing, is that an inline fuse holder? mine has what looks to be a blown glass fuse in it but I can't get it out, need to make sure it is a fuse before I mess it up. It was dark when I looked at it so I'm not 100% certain

Re: Mystery wire?

yes that is a fuse in the hood light. I can tell you that it is because I have replaced it and I have pulled it while I was trying to find a drawn on my battery.
