Help with Berlinetta wiring

I brought a 84 berlientta with the 2.8 in it to convert into a 350 carb car. the wiring on the orginial car was shot so i went with the Summit racing wiring harness. so far i have the tail section done and most of the motor section complete except a few main things.

I need to wire in the wiper motor

and the a/c compressor

i had brought a iroc camaro wiring harness for the interior of the car so i can setup the iroc gauges and such but did not get the outside wiring harness and am currently usuing the stock 84 wiring harness and using it for its plugs to connect my other componets.

does anyone have a berlinetta wiring diagram or can tell me how to hook up the wipers for the berlinetta and slice those wires to make the wipes and a/c work

please write back

this is the only thing holding me up from completing the wiring in my car

thanks
scott

Re: Help with Berlinetta wiring

It will be quite a challange to get the Berlinetta heater system working when trying to use a "regular" Camaro interior harness. The Berlinetta heater system is electronicly controlled - but the Camaro system useses cables to operate.

When swapping from a Berlinetta interior to a "regular" Camaro interior I ALWAYS remove the Berlinetta heater system wiring harness and replace it with one from a regular Camaro. There is no easy way to make the Camaro system work using the Berlinetta componants.

When it comes to your Wipers - Here's what I did on my 85 Berlinetta conversion: ( Berlinetta engine harness - IROC interior harness ) You will need to cut the wiper plugs from a regular camaro with as much wiring as possible. You wil also need to replace the wiper motor with one from a normal camaro. Install the 'regular" wiper motor,.... lead the wiring thru the firewall. Then cut the wiper wiring that leads to the C100 connector and splice your wires into the interior (dash) harness.

I've got a CD with all the Berlinetta wiring diagrams ( I've also got a regular Camaro heater system harness as well.) If your interested in buying a copy just send me a PM for details.
