Swap bulbs or ballasts and see where the problem goes. Also check your wiring to be sure you don't have anything loose.
The bottom line with HID kits: "Made in China"... They all have a high failure rate.

Re: one HID cuts off
I have an 86 IROC as well, what is needed to do this conversion??? I have HIDs in my 02 Exploder, but it was just a plug and play because it already has the type of bulbs that are seperate from the housing. Id like to do HID low beams and fog lights for the ROC. I dont care about the High beams cause I hardly ever use them.

Re: one HID cuts off
Your IROC has sealed beams at least for the lows and highs. Not too sure about the fogs, but either way...you'll need to do a Sealed Beam conversion before you can do HID. Hella, PIAA and Eurolite all make conversions, and at least the latter of the three also sells HID kits. They're the route I plan to go when I do my headlight swap.
To the original poster....I'd second the suggestion to check the ballasts. Any peticular reason you opted to go with 10,000K bulbs?

Yes, you need to swap the Ballast. If the problem switches sides when you move the Ballast, the problem is in the Ballast. If it stays on the same side, than its the bulb. I have the 8000 K in my Eploder and love them. I wanna get them for my Camaro to. Fog lights arnt the problem, Just need to get the conversion kit for the lowbeams.
