enyone know what theses are?

theres this little red what looks to be a light on my center console behind the hatch release switch heres a pic (i know its bad but it shows what im talking about)

also theres a switch under my dash by my fuse box i dont know what it dose

Well the light looks like an LED for an alarm the switch under the dash is probably the valet switch for the alarm.

ya i think my uncle did that i wasnt sure if it had an alarm r not cause i dont have the arming thing for it. is there a way to get another one so i can have the alarm do its job

ive got one in my car to but its not an led its the "receiver" for the remote and you can get them made but i think theres some problems with insurance company ive read about this somewhere before

ok well today i went to go see if i could find the modle # on the system so i could get a new remote and when i pulled down the dash panle this is what i found Name:  PIC00064.jpg

wires that dont seam to go enywhere and that switch is one of them one wire from the switch gose and srews into the dash (ground?) and the other disappears into that clump of wireing.enyone got an idea to what all that could be?

is the "brain" of the alarm still there it almost looks like someone tore it out

ya thats what i was thinking but hoping didnt happen but i need to take another look to see if i can find the brain (even tho that maybe hard seeing as how i dont know whats normaly under there lol)but i dont see the point in removing the alarm?
