wow. ok. so no oil. no coolant. i have been running the crap out of this tbi 305 for around 5 months. and tonight, after i got enough nerve to drive to zanesville and really let into her. she finally quit running. but its not popped. after about 5 minutes of 6500rpm's. she finally stopped running. now i dont have spark, i was hoping to shoot a rod through the fender and into my buddies honda or something. but no luck. lol. sooo. now im sitting here, tryin to think exactly what the problem could be. i thought it was ignition related to the begin with. but i changed plugs, swapped coils, checked rotor and cap. its all gravy. but even after a 10 minute burnout, and like 5 minutes of that great sounding open header 305 revving at 6500, it still ran. it ran bad. real bad. lol. but now, shes stranded at walmart and i need it gone. there isnt any spark, so im swapping coils again. i figure i got a blown head gasket, i keep losing antifreeze. but im not worried about that right now. the reason i think its ignition, it runs ok at idle, then ill roll down the window, or turn the heater on, or anything to dim the lights, and it will start to cut out real bad. sorry for such a long post, but im drunk and on the last strands of sanity before i get rid of it for a v6 5 speed probe GT!! please dont let me let go of my baby!
