rewiring ignition coil
ok i've had problems starting my 85 trans am, you can read the other thread here, anyway i've been testing for spark from plugs all the way back to the battery connection to the coil and there isn't any power there. what i'm wondering is if i can just splice a new wire into the connector to the coil. i really dont WANT to do this, but i've tried and tried and tried to follow the wire to see where it goes, and ask around to see if anyone else knows, but to know avail.
eh?
edit: oh yeah, the coil had burned out so i replaced cap rotor and coil. and had the module underneath rotor checked and it was good.

Re: rewiring ignition coil
the wire from the coil to the battery, i figured out it's not the fuse in the fusebox so it's gotta be the fusable relay thing by the starter. i'm gonna do a couple more tests and replace that and if that doesnt work i'm just selling this b*tch
