more powerful headlights!?
i have an 87 firebird and my headlights arent very bright at all, i leave the high beams on and no one even notices... is there a relatively cheap way of gettin them to be brighter??? like changing the bulbs maybe? i see all these "high powered bulbs" in the parts stores but im uncertain if i can just plug some new bulbs in a get brighter headlights, if anyone has an answer to this please let me know, thanks

Re: more powerful headlights!?
sylvania silverstar. the whitest, brightest halogen available without going to HID. i have them on my 83 bird and they're damn bright....esp. on high beam. they run around $20 a bulb but its worth the money.

Also, upgrade your wiring to heavier gauge wiring and relays there. That with the sylvanias make it quite bright. Did this to my brothers crown vic, it was like stadium lighting after.
