Serial Data wire
Hello,
I did a tpi conversion on a 1986 Monte carlo SS. I have a 1987 MAF 5.7 camaro engine. We never ran a serial data wire from the ecm to the obd1 connector. So basically i can't get any data on a scan tool. The only thing i can do is get codes to flash on the SES light. I know that I can unbolt the obd1 connector and pull it down. Now how do I wire the Serial data wire into that connector. I think i'm going to have to seperate the connector and find the right pins. Does anyone know a part #? are these pins removable so I can connect a new wire to them?
