sometimes have to wait a minute before headlights pop up
On a 92 firebird. Sometimes the headlights pop up instantly when I hit the switch and sometimes I have to wait 1-2 minutes before they pop up. When I have to wait 1-2 minutes, the headlight bulbs are on but they do not pop up. I even try resetting the battery, doesn't help.
What would cause this?

Engine: 2.8/3.1
Transmission: auto
If both headlights are doing the same thing I'd guess it's the headlight controller module.
You might want to PM Lonsal or go to the TDS sponsor site. Lonsal knows more about these headlights and how they function.
