jegs brand HEI distributor questions
jegs is selling an HEI distributor for $85.99.. im switching to a holley carb instead of the computer controlled quadrajet and i understand that i need a non computer controlled distributor.. will the one jegs sells work? its avacuum advance disty..
also.. i have the moroso HEI tune up kit that i was running on my computer controlled stock HEI dist. will the cap and rotor from that work, or will i have to run the cap and rotor from the new dist or order one to fit?

Yes, that one will work. I did the same thing to my old 305, but with an Accel distributor and it works great. Getting rid of the computer controlled carb will definately necessitate a non-computer controlled distributor like this.
As far as the Moroso kit, I'm not sure if it will fit or not. You will have to check the fit and dimensions of the parts to see it it will work or not.
Good luck!
