90-92 fuse box question and vats

these are fuses that I need to know whats there purpose

LID
SIR ( probably the air bag )
CRK
DRL ( probably day time running lights )
ARC ( this is on a seperate fuse block mounted to the main fuse box, it's between the vats and CRK fuse )

will the security light work if the vats starter enable relay is unplugged ?

and whats this plug for it comes out from the harness that has the computers diagnostic port thing its a square plug with a yellow, blue, green and two purple wires.

this plug is probably for the vats enable relay it has two yellow wires and a green & black wire its also a square plug.

If I were to wire the day time running lights up to my 82's turn signals like most cars these days would my lenses melt since they were never designed for this

all this stuff came from a 91-92 firebird and is going into my 82 trans am so lets not make fun if arc is something simple, and no this arc fuse is not acc the letters are easily read.

Not in any particular order:

LID - Hatch release and pull-down motor;
SIR - Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (air bag);
CRK - Crank Fuse;
DRL - Daytime Running Lights (Canada and exports);
ARC - Usually Automatic Ride Level Control, but I'm not sure on a ThirdGen. May be for power remove mirrors and overhad (map) lights.

On the third gens, ARC stands for "AMPLIFIED RADIO CONTROL".

Hello Vader,

It was for the Delco-Bose system and certain other of the high-end systems. Here are the schematics for them, these are from a 1989 camaro manual as I don't have the other manuals handy at the moment. Brother-in-law with a case of borrowitis.

Here is a section of paragraphs that will explain what it is for. I found them at the end of the troubleshooting guide.

this car didn't have delco bose stuff in it though, nor did it appear to be an export car since all it's gauges were normal, the car was just a base firebird
