intermittent brake lights
i did a quick search, but i couldnt find anything like this.
for a few days, my right brake light and right rear turn signal has not been working. I know its not the bulbs, because the lights come on with the parking lights. this afternoon i checked the brake light switch on the petal. after messing with it, i got both brake lights working by pulling the plug off the end of the switch. i put the plug back on, and they still worked.
by the time i had everything back together, both brake lights had stopped working. however, the left turn signal works, along with the parking lights. with the hazards on, all corners flash except the right rear.
the brake light swich is currently hanging from its wires, and neither brake light is on. I've done all the basics i can think of, including replacing the swich and the fuse. is there a relay somewhere i should be looking for, or do i have to trace the wires from for a short?

No there isn't a relay but there is a turn/hazard switch located at the base of the steering column near the convenience center. You might want to check the white wire going to it from the brake pedal. BTW, you should have two dual element light bulbs on each side for the stop & turn signal. You should also check to make sure they are the right bulbs for your car. Also check the ground wires there.

well, since the bulbs were working properly for about five minutes, it looks like im gonna be tracing a white wire to the turn/hazard swich.
