Car: 1988 formula
Engine: 93' LT1 Swap in progress..
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 2.73
RADIO WONT WORK!!!

well here’s what happened I just got a gtech and you all know how it plugs into the cigarette lighter anyway I plugged it in and I find out that the cigarette lighter was not hooked up so I hooked it up and the 2 wires that go into it touched echother and it shorted out and now my radio wont work or my cigarette lighter I tested all the fuses and nothings blown so idk what to check now

I think most car radios have a fuse near the radio also. So I would check that fuse. And check all the fuses just to make sure. Depending on who installed the radio, maybe they hooked it up weird. Is the radio aftermarket or stock?

its just the stock radio/cd player. where is the fuse at? and also i hooked up the cigeret lighter and it wont work

Replace the "ACC" fuse.

In the fuse panel under the dash by the drivers left knee. It will be a 20 AMP fuse.

i got it all to work it was i different fuse that was blown
