need quick airbag wire help... pin b9 on airbag modulle
ok on the silver airbag control box, that looks like a mini ecm on the connector going into it, on pin b9 i have a pink and black wire coming out of it, but it got cut and i cant find the other end of it... i need to know what it does and where it needs to go, so i can fix it, and know if the car is going to ok to hook the battry up and start up wiht out this connected... i dont want to blow up my face when i start the car... so if anyone can tell me what the functino of this wire is, i will be very happy

Just seen it today in the Chiltons master book at the public library while I was trying to find bulhead connector diagrams for a 90 and an 89. Whilst I was looking for my stuff, I happened upon an entire section (like50+ pages) on "supplemental restraint systems". I can't answer your ?? directly, just giving you a place to look that I know the info is located. Good luck

If you will take a look at the enclosed picture, you will see that it goes to the 20 AMP gages fuse and then goes to one side of the "Inflatable Restraint Indicator" light on the dash idiot panel.

so is there any reason this isnt working ? i see that the speed sensor itself puts out a 4000 pulse per mile signal also, can i just take that wire... and use that and ground the other one ?

the speedo itself is expecting a clean +5v square wave signal.
