Power Door Locks On Non Power Door Lock Car

i got my hand on some power door locks off a 89 firebird for like 5 bucks.

i have a 85 transam with no power door locks
in process of motor swap tranny swap and going from the tpi to carbed. so things are little $$$ right now.

i wondering if easier jsut get a actuator kit or to go ahead and put these in.

i have harness but no relay's. no switchs and when car is ready i'm looking to put a 2-way keyless entry setup with remote start shock sensor's the whole works.

just looking for some input.

let me know thanx

I would just put them in. The doors are already predrilled for them and it is a pretty stright forward add on.

Is there a wire harness alredy there on our cars for electric doorlocks, or would it need to be added?

The harness would need to be added.. But if you have power windows and no power locks, then the harness will be there.. When I added power windows to my car.. I made the harness.
From the looks of things your alarm system will then control the locks.. so why not forget the switch in the car.. and just use the remote? I've been thinking of doing that my self.
