Rewiring my car
I bought a 92RS 25th camaro about 4 months ago, it has a brand new 350 instead of the 305 and it also has a 350 turbo tranny, it came with a new wiring harness that i need to install, I was just wondering how hard it is to install and if anyone has any tips for me.....thanks

what kind of harness? painless wiring for the entire car, was it a swap to some sort of fuel injection or loss of fuel injection?

If a carb has replaced the FI, you only need coil power, front end wiring (lamps & gauges) and power to/from the starter. All this runs to/from the bulkhead connector next to the brake booster. It's fairly simple wiring and, there is are wiring diagrams on the mainpage of this site and people here if you get lost in the process.

Ok, I got one more issue, when they did the motor swap the guage cluster quit working, IE speedo, gas guage, tach, I have an aftermarket tach, oil pressure guage, and a temp guage, so that isn't a problem, but i really need the speedo and the gas guage to work. Does the guage cluster run off the computer, or can it be re wired to work???
Thanks for any help

It sounds as though someone has really did number on the wiring to take out the whole cluster from working.
The gauges/gas/tach work independant of the ECM.
The speedo however, doesn't (well.. depending on what FI you had IIRC). Because you have a 92, the speedo is electric instead of cable driven. The buffer box was part of the ECM (or a seperate unit) and the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) was probably s-canned with the wiring/trans swap.
Though I've not had to convert any car yet, I'd imaginge the VSS unit from a 700r4 would work on a th350. You would then need a buffer box (easier to find on a bird) and wire it to your existing speedo/cluster harness.
For the gas gauge.. I'd start with looking under the car in the rear just forward of the tank (the floor where the rear seat backrest lays against). There should be a harness connector there. If the car is a hack job (which sounds a little like one), there is a chance someone unplussed this to prevent the pump from running. This plug also has your gauge wire running on it.
If it's plugged in... take an ohmmeter and check resistance between the purple wire to the tank and ground. Yuo should read between 0-90 ohm... if a reading shows.. there's a problem in the wiring going to the cluster. if no.. there's a problem at the sender.
