Lights pop up but no light.
Lights pop up but no light.
If I run a hot wire straight to the brown wire of the head lights. They will pop up and light up normal.
Lights have 3 wires black [ground]
green [brights]
brown [reg lights n motors pop up]
I checked all the fuses. Can't find a problem anywhere. Since when I hot wire the lights. They light up and the motors work.
Why don't they light , like normal when the motor pop up with the switch???
Seams funny that they are obviously on the same circuit.
But power from the switch in the dash only makes the motor pop em up. But hot wired to the brown wire on the head lights. Will make both the lights lite up and they pop up normal???????

If I flick my switch on, they light up but dont pop up. If I hold the switch 1/2 way for a sec, they will pop up. If I hold the switch part way, and then as soon as they start moving I flick it straight on, they will stop part way and look like a sleepyeye conversion...
My reccomendation: Check the switch itself?

What I don't get is why the lights pop up but wont light with the stock switch.
If the motors get power, so should the lights.
As if I hot wire the brown wire, they pop up and light.
It makes no sense. If the motors pop up, they should also light.
They both obviously are wired on the same circuit.

I am looking but do you know how many of them things you have posted Trickster??? Yikes.
One neat thing on my way home. Had some jerk blinding me with his brights.
So when I hit my brights. Both lamps were lit.
So low and hi's were on. Man that was bright.

I can't make heads or tail out of the diagrams.
So I will just leave them hot wired into my driving lights.
I did have my 55 watt driving lights hook into my driving lights circuit. So I know it can take the load. never popped any fuses or anything got hot.
But of course the 55watters are unhooked for now.
