how do i wire up a 5in tach??

Car: 1992 camaro rs
Engine: 346 ls1
Transmission: t56
Axle/Gears: strange 12 bolt 3.73's
how do i wire up a 5in tach??
ok so i know that one wire goes to ground one to a 12 volt source thats only on when the cars on and the third to the coil i think? ok so where on the coil does it go? anybody have a picture i can use for a reference?

I don't have any pictures but I can help. There are 4 wires to hook up:
-12V igntion source-Look at your fusebox and use the IGNITION spot. There is no fuse in that spot so use a blade terminal on the end of your wire.
-12V dash lighting-Tap into the INST LPS fuse wire (should be gray) behind your fusebox
-Tach signal-Tap into the white wire on the gray connector of the coil. The white wire should go into the wiring harness (don't use the white wire on the black connector that goes from the coil to the distributor)
-Ground- Of course, just use a good engine ground
That's it.
