Reinstalling wiring harness in engine bay.
First Post:
OK... My brother in Alaska bought a '88 IROC, but the car is down here in Oregon. It was sold with no engine/tranny.
So I've got it in my garage, and the wiring harness was removed (?ripped) from the car. So I'm trying to do my best to reroute the harness the factory way. The thing is I have nothing to work off of, just some kinks in the wiring to use as a guide of sorts.
Does anyone have any good pictures of their engine bay (minus engine), or at least some detail shots of how the wiring is routed around the engine compartment?
Better yet, the owner kept the engine (5.7). So now I'm trying to source a good TPI 5.7 to put back in.
Why...Why.... Why do some people just do the stupidest things?
Many Thanks.

I have my engine out, and almost have the wiring harness back in all the way. Here's a pic. Let me know what specific thing you're looking for, and I'll get a pic to ya.

When I converted from carb to TPI, I just laid the harness over the engine and all the connectors were near the sensors that they attached to.
No need to put the harness in before the motor, put it in after the engine is installed.
