closing power windows and hatch
i just recently got an 84 z the only keys i have are the ignition ones, the car's engine tranny and battery are out of the car and the power windows are half way down (was stored in garage) how can i open the hatch and get the windows to go up, is there a away i can hook a battery up to the car to roll them down and open the hatch? i don't see any battery cables in the engine compartment so i don't know

Transmission: 700R4
Take the switch's in the center console and disconnect them and apply 12 volts to the connectors to raise or lower the windows. Do the same to the hatch release.

Yep, as always trickster is right. When i had my doors off i had to raise and lower the windows a few times, i ran a wire from a battery to the window motor and it worked fine.

ACK! the windows roll down just fine, but they don't roll up now a weather pack connector by the AC condensor makes a clicking sound and my temp guage goes crazy what in the world is the problem plz help!
