Buzzer wont stop buzzing

My buzzer won't shut the f*** up. Whenever the key is in the ignition, or the lights are on it just keeps on buzzing... evben with the car on. What could cause this? I know I could just take the buzzer out, but I'd rather fix the problem than avoid it.

I took mine out when i changed my guage bulbs and after that the thing would not shut up IT is doing what yours is Car on with the lights on it would beep. Let me know if you get a new one and if it fixes the problem. So i dont have to waste my money. Im still woking on getting my speedo to work.

I had the same problem. It was a blown fuse. I forget what circuit it was on but it my have been the rear hatch release circuit. Just start checking fuses and see if one is blown.

The Audio Alarm system works off the gauges fuse.

Did this problem arise after your problem with the dim switch?

Yah, trickster. I noticed it wouldn't stop after I had to start the car because my battery was going dead.

All the fuses check out fine. It does the same thing with or without a gauges fuse.

The stop/hazard fuse supplies constant power to the buzzer at all times. You may have missed something when you were working on the dimmer switch. Check this schematic out.

Lol... figured it out. =P

I didn't have the gauges hooked up yet. After plugging the gauges in for a quick check, the buzzer works fine.

That dosent explain why mine wont stop buzzing when the car is on and the lights are on. It was after i took my guages out then put them back in i had to replace a bulb. Any ideas why? I thoght it could be because my tumbler broke so i had to get new keys and a new ignition switch and that still didnt fix the problem.

FAST RS: Does your fasten seatbelt light work? I noticed that the buzzer would turn off at the same time that light on the gauges would.
