I was taking the trim panels off my car and i found this wierd electrical thing on the sailpanel above the speaker. Its a glass bulb with too wires, but it looks like theres mercury in it or something.
What is it?

I also have a car alarm i need disabled. Its giving me problems. Its a old Python unit. I already spliced the ignition wire back togather properly, it was cut and running to the alarm, i reconnected it and bypassed the alarm.
How do I disable a alarm?

Accesory position doesnt work. I replaced the ignition switch on the column, all the other positions work. No acc. I think the alarm may have something to do with it. The alarm was in there since before i got it. I never had any problems until i replaced the ignition switch, then the alarm started acting up. It prevented it from starting and now i think its screwing with the accesory postion.

Please help.
