Delco 7127 Alternator

I am using a Delco 7127 alternator. Its the common 63 amp alternator used from 71 to 85. I am not using the idjit light, so what value resistor do I need to add to the Field terminal?

Thanks in advance.

i am not sure, if no one else answers, just use an ohmeter and measure across a 194 lightbulb, most idiot lights use them, also, make sure it is wired to a key on circuit

Thanks, I was thinking about measuring across an idiot light to get the resistance.

Measured the resistance of the light. It came to be 7.5 Ohms. Does this sound right to everyone?
