What ever side of the blinker is lit up, check the parking and brake lights, and make sure the blinkers work on that side of the car.

Do you put your blinker on to turn into the driveway?

You might have better luck in the electronics board.

Before you turn off the car, make sure that your blinkers are off. Then start the car again, and see if the blinker turns on when you start it. If this solves the problem, tell no one.

Glad weve got that taken care of then. It might be a relay getting stuck or something. Im sure this can be worked out when it gets moved to the electronics board.

Try a new flasher unit, probably stuck or flaking out on the inside.

how do i go about checking out the flasher unit to see if yes it does need replaced or no its that ghost??? any way to tell for sure??? also lets say the unit would fail, that wouldnt mess with the brake lights would it? i know the lights on moms jeep went nuts whenever she had a blinker light out...you pushed it up for the right one & the left one would blink & vice versa

It is a small round "can" up under the dash, driver side towards the middle. There's no telling what it might do if it goes bad, they only cost a couple of dollars, just replace it to eliminate it as the problem.

thats what i would do (above) if all you lights work, check all your outside bulbs first (turn blinker on, get out, look ect...) if one is burned out thats your prblem, btw, my old jeep went ape **** when it had a bulb out. most cars do.
