Wire up a switch to the fuel pump relay on the dirvers side firewall. I'm thinking about doing this for testing and tuning purposes. I've been having fuel pressure problems so setting up the vac. ref. fpr in my parking spot is a lot easier than having to drive around with the gauge attached to my windshield.
Look up the wiring diagram for your ecm and it'll show you the fuel pump relay with colors for the wires.

Most TG's get 12 volts from 2 places during running. First the fuel pump relay, and then when oil pressure builds up a second source is the switch in the oil pressure sender unit. Disabling the fuel pump relay will still allow the car to start and run, only it will take a couple more cranks to get it to fire. You can pull the fuel pump relay out when it's running and it will continue to run. You need to break the line feeding the pump after both switches and most likely use a relay. Most garden variety toggle switches will not handle the current the pump draws over the long haul. I would suggest a relay controlled by a switch. You also need to give more info, year, engine etc. when posting-it helps when looking up wiring diagrams.
