What is this connector beside the fuse box?
Hi Guys,
I'll try and get a pic later on but I noticed a flat black wire beside the fuse block was ready to snap - and as soon as I grabbed it, it did. The connector is a 4 wire connector which goes up near the fusebox where it connects. The other end leads up the steering column or somewhere up there.
The connector is pretty different in that it has four small wires in a flat black wire. The connector looks like a square with each connection being made at the four corners.
Does anyone know off-hand what this connector is for?

4 different colors. Can't remember exactly right now but I remember seeing red and blue. The wires are quite small and run up the steering column. The other end comes down the column across towards the fuse box where it attaches to a connector just forward and above from the fuse box. It is a 4 wire connector which kinda looks like 4 blades going into the square connector.
The wire itself is black and flat and contains all four wires inside.

Most likely the wires going to the cruise control switch on the multifunction lever.
