vallet switch on alarm?

i have an UNGO alarm and the guy has this thing called a vallet switch, what is that? its a buttom hidden somewhere in my car but i don't know wat it does

i think it keeps the alarm disarmed, so it wont come on or go off.

I dont know about your system, but on mine it doesn't allow the Car to go above "X" rpms. The reason is Valets like to hot rod cars around while your eating dinner (I know I used to be one ) So that is what it's mostly for.

On my viper vallet switch, you can disarm the alarm by doing some morse (sp?) code with it. This is for those times when you loose, break, or the battery runs out of your transmitter.

Oh, also...I have a switch rigged onto my rev limiter. When i flip the hidden switch, the thing wont go above 1800rpm. That doesnt do you much good with a 3100 stall
