Wiring Help, BIg Project!
Heres the idea, tell me if you think its pluasable. I know my way around wiring enough, but not well enough. Gotta do research on this, but gettign to the idea:
You know those little LED light bars, look like little graph bars or EQ bars? Well I was thinking of installing two of them on the gauge cluster or somewhere in the car, and wiring them up (I dunno how yet) to the gas pedal and brake pedal.
So the harder you press on the gas pedal the further the LED graph bar lights up. Same for the brake pedal.
Make sense? Kinda like a sensor for applied pressure. I just gotta get some ideas on how to go about doing this or where to start and do some research. any ideas or thoughts??

You would have to hook up some kind of position sensor to the brake pedal to do the brake pedal one, but I bet it wouldnt be too hard. I am actually trying to make those circuits now, but I havent had much luck. You can order the chips needed for the project at http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM3915.html
Good luck.
