digital dash to non-digital

is it possible to change a digital dash to a non-digital dash? I hate mine and would love to do a swap. Thanks in advance for the advice.

You hate your digital dash.. why? does it still work, because I actually want to switch from what you want to digital... and I wonder how hard that would be....

Yes you can change the gauge cluster out.The only things you have to do is replace your temp and oil pressure senors from switches to sending units.I would keep your analog gauges FastElectrics. First and the most important to me is the tempature gauge that only comes on when the motor has died.It happened to me
on my way home from work,my lower radiator hose came off and my car overheated and died and blew both head gaskets and cracked both heads. The bad thing about it was the d@mn gauge light never came on to warn me
But its your car and you can do whatever you feel nesscary to it.

In my car I don't have "switches" I have "sending units", no lights inplace of guages.. are you saying the digital dash in the earlier camaros didn't actually show a "temperature" or "pressure"??

The digital clusters in the Berlinettas do show oil pressure & water temperature, as well as voltage via analog gauges. If you want to swap in an analog cluster into a Berlinetta, you would most likely have to change the dash out, as well, since I believe that the Berlinetta digital clusters fit in a different form factor than the analog clusters. Also, unless the analog cluster was setup for an electric speedo ('90 - 92), you would have to rewire the cluster to bring in the VSS signal, since the VSS buffer is located on the rear of cable driven analog clusters. Also, the cluster plugs are different between analog (dual plug pcb mount) & digital (single high density pin type) clusters.

Thats odd my digital cluster never showed anything. When I turned the car on the gauges would light up and then shut off. They wouldnt come on while i was driving.
