Check all your turn signal bulbs. If a bulb goes out the flasher on that side will not flash. Light in ****pit should come on solid on the affected side. Otherwise, it is the relay.

um, lets see. i kinda figured it was the flasher, but i wasn't sure because the 4 ways still flashed. second, i don't know where the flasher is. is it one of those silver canisters under the dash? and if so, which one.

Sorry... don't know where the flasher is, but...
My 87 GTA had the same problem and I found that it was a short in the right front turn signal. Just in case you replace the flasher and it still does not work...

The flasher unit is found under the dash, on the topside of the fuse box (drops down by pressing in on the tabs on each side). The flasher for signals is seperate from the hazards. I recommend you purchase the electronic one since most Camaro drivers tend to make quick lane changes and the thermal flasher units take a moment to heat up and cause the light to flash. Not that I encourage rapid lane changes...<G>
Hope this helps.
