MSD distributor and Plug question
Ok, I'm running a 6AL box, GM Blaster coil, harness, and soon MSD 8.5mm wires on a 350 90 formula TPI with 22 lb injectors. The car is my daily driver. I was wondering is upgrading to a new msd-8366 distributor really worth the 290 dollars?
Also I was told on jegs tech line to run 1 temp colder than stock on the spark plugs since I'm useing a MSD setup now. Anyone have any ideas?

IMO there's really no advantage over the stock. I replaced mine w/the MSD because my old dist. was binding & the gear was about cooked. I cerrtainly didn't think it worth almost $300. It would probably be more worth putting the Accel ignition module (110-35362/JEGS)in your old dist. for $44. I've got a total MSD ignition & am running the same platinums I always have w/o problems but, plugs & heat range & all that was never my cup of tea.
