fuze for power locks and int light blow when i plug black light in cig lighter
when ever i plug my 12volt blacklight in my cigarette lighter in my 92 camaro the powerlock/interiorlights fuse blows please help

Have you tried it directly on the battery to see if it works ? Quite possible it draws too much power to be plugging it into the cig lighter.
Most DC fluorescent lamps don't draw that much current. Does the fuse blow if you press in the cig. lighter itself ?

I wouldn't suggest to much higher of a fuse or you'll be defeating the purpose of it. Fuses blow because of heat. Too big of a fuse & it won't blow causing the wire itself to heat & lead to a possible electrical fire.

i bet you your lighter is just bad. anything you plug into would prob blow the fuse like the lighter itself or a phone charger. i'd change the lighter unit if i was you. it's a very common problem on thirdgens.
