OK, I plan to swap to a 4thgen dash, seats and console in my '86 IROC. I discovered numerous disfigured panels, a cracked dash and ugliness after letting the car sit for a couple months due to a motor being built for it. I plan on swapping to a six-speed and have to install electrical guages likewise. How should I go about wiring this thing up? Normally I wouldn't ask, but I'm installing front LS1 4thgen 13" brakes,(found a way) and have been considering an ABS swap as well. I already have everything I would need except the front speed sensors and tubing. I already have a '95 4thgen rear. Should I use a 4thgen body harness? Should I cut and splice/add to my existing harness? I wasn't sure if using my existing harness was a good idea...I know the body harness and engine harness connect somehow, and I intend on using TPI. A 4thgen body harness would seem to be an excellent idea if I could be sure it would mate properly to the engine harness somehow. Any thoughts? This is the only thing that's held me back from buying parts...let me know what you would do!!!

BTW: is there an 'earlier' 4thgen ABS system that could be considered a 'sstand alone' system? One that doesn not get complete or partial operation/processing though the BCM? I work for the dealer but their info won't tell me this. Thanks alot!
