22,

The "10" is the body size of the connector. The "PED" is the acronym for Packard Electric Division (GM/Delphi electrical wiring division). The colors would have to be researched on a chassis wiring schematic, and mine don't necessarily cover the '91 year. I'm guessing that it is either for a rear hatch release or rear cargo well lamp, but it could be a license lamp, third brake light, etc. I wish I had a good chassis manual.

My GM '91 service manual lists a red/white and black/orange wire connected to a two-pin connector for the rear cargo compartment light.

If memory serves, that is the only two-conductor receptical in the rear. The main power (from the lid fuse) goes to this connnector (via a red/white wire), and another red/white wire (later changing to a bark blue wire is connected to this wire to power the hatch pull-down unit. The other side of this two-pin connecter (black/orange which then changes to just a white wire) goes to the hatch pull-down unit to turn the light on/off.

On mine, there are a total of three wires connected the connector described above (two +12 from the lid fuse and the other switched ground to turn the light "on")

[that is probably for your center brake light in the rear deck lid the tonnou cover is powered(mine is) check to see if the third brake lite works, if it does, it plugs into the trunk light...
